Just Keep Going!: August 2016

I have so much in my head I want to get down but I just never seem to find the time. I need to make the time.

At least I still remember how to log in.

THE PLAYERS

Me – Type A, morning person, mother of 4, twice divorced, accountant, runner and cyclist. Doing my best at this thing called life....yet somehow never feeling that I do anything right.

XH#2 (JDK)– Daughter of my baby Bean. After 10+ years together I gave up and divorced him. He has since admitted he took me for granted and didn't think I would ever leave him. He has apologized for not giving me the love and respect I deserved. Not sure if we can make this work but it can't hurt to try. Life is a lot simpler with just the three of us. Well except the extra dog. Ugh

Friss – My oldest. I can’t believe it has been 35 years since he was born! He has grown up to be an amazing person. Sadly, when he was 18 he struck his 11 month old son (my Grandson) who then died. I did not mortgage my house to hire an attorney and the public defender didn’t do A DAMN THING FOR HIM... so he was sentenced to 20 years in jail for murder. The good news is he will be out in just two more years. I can hardly wait!

Monster – My 25 year old boy is a cook and a bouncer. He doesn't have a vehicle yet somehow seems to get where ever he needs to be. I think he actually makes decent money yet he's always broke. Will he ever grow up?

Ramone – (now 23) after moving out days before graduating from high school she has been living in poverty. Currently she is delivering pizzas to pay the bills. Her car won't last much longer, her apartment has no gas because she can't afford to settle an old bill and I constantly worry about her choice in friends. However, she is a very sweet person with a HUGE heart that would do anything for anyone. I hope she someday manages to become a responsible adult or at least marry one.

Beanie – my youngest is 10 now. She is crazy smart, beautiful and demanding. Starting over at 40 may have been the dumbest thing I ever did….then again I don’t know what I would do with out her.

XH#1 - Randy (first ex-husband) father to Ramone and Monster – when I was young, I married a really nice guy. He was almost an exact opposite of me. I naively thought we completed each other. In the long run we could not stand each other. We never agreed on anything and still don't. He is helpless and annoying.

Kevin (KP) - The man I thought was going to be the "love of my life" turns out to be a cheating coward. Glad we never got married but unfortunately we did buy a house together. I hate the fact that someone can be so awesome yet turn out to be one of the worst decisions you ever made.

Rocco - The actual love of my life. It was the one and only healthy happy relationship I've ever had. I miss him. I wish I would have been smarter when things got weird.
